This December, join us in celebrating the LGBTQ+ Cypriot Diaspora’s Community Interest Company (CIC) status with a powerful exhibition at the Cyprus High Commission in London. Between Islands presents an intimate series of portraits by acclaimed artist and photographer Mihali Intzieyanni, capturing the resilience, creativity, and achievements of queer individuals of Cypriot heritage living in the UK. Each portrait tells a story of connection and identity, bridging the cultural ties between Cyprus and the UK.
Featuring portraits of Alex Papadopoulos, Ali Orhan, Andreas Pavlou, APHRODITIOS, Dean Atta, Diana Georgiou, Eve Polycarpou, Florenza Deniz İncirli, Gabby Koumis, Martha Lewis, Sophia Vi, and Tahini Molasses, this exhibition celebrates the diversity and spirit of a community thriving across two islands.
Between Islands is presented as part of Proud Voices II, a series by the LGBTQ+ Cypriot Diaspora CIC in collaboration with the Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission in London.
