Culture Club at the Residence presents: Enver Gürsev – Copper Washed in White

The Culture Club at the Cypriot High Commissioner’s Residence is an exciting new cultural initiative launched under the vision of Mrs. Vasso Kinani Kourou, transforming the residence into a dynamic space for Cypriot art and creativity.

Opening this special season is Enver Gürsev with his exhibition, Copper Washed in White—a meditation on resilience, transformation, and the passage of time. Gürsev’s work is an act of renewal—he repurposes aged materials, imprinted with history, and gives them new life. Through his textured surfaces and layered compositions, he invites us to reflect on what is lost, what endures, and what can be reimagined.

Visitors to the Residence will experience Gürsev’s work in an intimate setting, where art becomes a living presence, weaving itself into the cultural dialogue of the space.
