Experience the compelling journey of Theophana in "Love in a Foreign Land”, a powerful play that delves into themes of love, migration, and self-discovery. Written by the Cypriot playwright Maria Vigar and directed by the award-winning Greek director Anastasia Revi, this production brings to life the story of a woman who defies cultural norms to reunite with her estranged husband in a foreign land.
On Thursday, 6th March 2025, the writer and actor Maria Vigar presents her play during a celebration of the International Women's Day at an event organized by the Hellenic Centre. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session led by Clara Arokiasamy OBE, President of ICOMOS – London, inviting a deeper exploration of the female migrant experience.
Following this event, "Love in a Foreign Land" will have a three-week run at The Playground Theatre from 26th March to 13th April 2025. Do not miss this opportunity to witness a narrative that resonates with themes of love, resilience, and the immigrant experience.
