Explore the health of British Cypriot representation in the Live and Recorded Arts at this engaging full-day seminar and conference. Curated by Kerry Kyriacos Michael MBE, this event brings together leading British Cypriot artists and practitioners for a day of thought-provoking discussions, networking, and cultural exploration.

Date: Friday, 28 February 2025 Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (followed by a social event) Venue: Theatro Technis @ 26 Crowndale Road, London

Dive into critical questions surrounding identity, representation, and storytelling in the arts:

  • Who are the Cypriot creatives shaping the UK’s cultural landscape?

  • How do they navigate the British creative industries?

  • What stories are they telling—and expected to tell?

  • How do experiences differ across generations of migration?

Program Highlights

The day is divided into three dynamic sections:

  1. Live Arts: Theatre, dance, and performance in traditional and non-traditional spaces.

  2. Recorded Arts: Insights into TV, film, radio, and digital media.

  3. Academia & Policy: Exploring social politics, leadership, and the future of British Cypriot representation.

Each session includes a keynote speech, a panel discussion, and audience Q&A.
